How long does a custom website take to build?
Most builds run four to eight weeks. The design and code are rarely the bottleneck — waiting on content, photos, and approvals is. Projects where the copy is ready when we start finish closest to four.
Do I own the site when it is finished?
Yes. You own the domain, the content, and the code. Nothing is rented back to you and nothing is held hostage if you decide to leave. Ask any agency this before you sign, because not all of them answer the same way.
Can you redesign my existing site instead of rebuilding it?
Often, yes. If the structure and content are sound, a redesign is cheaper and faster than starting over. If the site is built on something we cannot maintain safely, we will tell you that rather than paper over it.
Why hand-code instead of using WordPress or a site builder?
Hand-coded sites are faster, have far less to patch, and do not break when a plugin updates itself. The tradeoff is that you are not editing it yourself — which is the arrangement we are set up for, since we handle changes for you.
